Requirements to Book & Stay

  • Vaccination Records Must Be Sent From Your Veterinarian for a Minimum of Rabies & Bordetella.

    Up to date vaccinations for rabies & bordetella is our mininum requirements to protect all dogs.

  • All Dogs Must Be Spayed or Neutered

    This is required to protect other dogs and dog owners.

  • A Signed Boarding Waiver Will Be Required

    The boarding waiver can be signed  online or in person.


  • WE ARE CLOSED ON SUNDAYS FOR BOTH PICK UP'S AND DROP OFF'S

    We are closed on Sundays for both drop off's and pick ups. No Exceptions. 


Logistics and Care

  • What should I bring for my dog to be comfortable while boarding?

    o Bark Barn of Clemson needs you to bring your dog's food that is clearly labeled. Please bring an extra day of food.  

    o You may also bring a favorite blanket or toys to help them feel more comfortable.

    o Avoid bringing valuable items that could be lost or damaged.



  • What does the typical day look like while my dog is boarding at Bark Barn of Clemson?

    Bark Barn of Clemson includes feeding, medications, potty breaks, outdoor playtime (with or without other dogs), and rest periods.

  • Will I be able to check on my dog while they are boarded?

    o Bark Barn of Clemson offers kennel cams to view your precious family member via the ring app.   

    o We also provide access to your dog’s daily information via our our booking app.



  • What are check in and check out times for your boarding facility?

    Check-in/check-out times are 8:30 am to 5 pm Monday – Saturday. NO SUNDAYS


    Drop off's  and pick up's can be anytime during 8;30 AM - 5:00 PM. This can set in the booking process.

  • What will my dog eat while boarding?

    Bring your dog’s own food, this prevents upset stomachs from a sudden change in diet.  We recommend bringing an extra day or two of food in case travel plans change.


Vaccinations and Health

  • What type of vaccines are required to board my dog?

    Bark Barn of Clemson requires proof of up-to-date vaccinations, including rabies, Bordetella are required but distemper, parvovirus and others is just more protection and encouraged.   


  • Will I be able to board if my dog has medical needs?

    Inform the facility about any medications, allergies, or special needs your dog has to

    ensure they can administer medications as required. We pefer to know about any special needs or medical attention prior to booking.


  • What if my dog is injured or has a medical emergency while boarding?

    Bark Barn of Clemson have protocols for handling emergencies, including contacting you and having a relationship with a local veterinarians.   


    Ensure we have your emergency contact information, veterinarian and any other important information needed just in case of an emergency.

Facility and Safety

  • How will Bark Barn of Clemson house my dog?

    o Large indoor and outdoor clean kennels. 

    o Raised beds and artificial dog turf in kennel.

    o Boarding multiple dogs in a kennel is available.



  • Is the dog boarded facility kept clean and sanitized?

    o A clean environment is essential for preventing the spread of disease.   

    o With onsite supervision 24/7, Bark Barn’s provides constant cleaning and sanitizing throughout the day.


  • Is the boarding facility staffed overnight?

    Bark Barn of Clemson provides supervision 24/7 – 7 days a week most of the time. The owner lives onsite providing comfort and security for the dog and thier owners.




  • What is the policy for dog interaction at the boarding facility?

    o Bark Barn of Clemson offers group play and individual playtime.

    o If group play is wanted, we assess dog temperaments to ensure happy playtime will be attained. Staff will make the final decision based the safety of each dog.
